When making a purchase we want you to feel as secure as possible, therefore we offer a few different ways to place an order: Order online! - When placing an order through our website you will find it safe, easy, and fast. You will always be shown the price you pay with no hidden extras. You can make changes and review what you have entered every step of the way. All orders are processed through a secure server offering the highest protection available, and we are part of the Verified by Visa / Mastercard SecureCode scheme for that added security. Online ordering is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Credit/Debit Cards - We currently accept American Express, MasterCard/EuroCard, Visa/Electron and Maestro. Cheque - If you wish to pay by cheque, please contact our sales team for more information. (5 days clearance needed) Cash - We can only accept cash for instore orders. BACS - Under special circumstances we can accept Bank Transfer payments, please contact our sales team for more information When Do I Pay And How Much? We ask for a 20% (minimum £50) deposit when the order is placed. When your order is ready for dispatch the remaining balance will be due. Please note all order must be paid in full before delivery. For the saftey of our delivery drivers, they cannot accept any payments on delivery. My Order Has Arrived But Im Not Quite Ready For It? When your order arrived into us and has passed our internal inspection, it will be passed on to be routed to a delivery run. We aim to have all available orders delivered as soon as possible as with everywhere space is a premium!, If your not available to take the first available delivery slot thats not a problem, we'll simply make a note on your order when you think you'll be ready and try again, Please note we may ask you to pay any outstanding balance whilst we hold your order. Can I Collect My Order? Yes, you are more than welcome to collect your order from us. The benefit of collecting is you can avoid the additional delivery planning time which can sometime add upto 3 weeks depending on your location. When your order has arrived, we'll unpack and inspect all pieces for transport damages before contacting you. We simply require a few days notice to make sure your order is picked from our warehouse and ready to be collected. If you can't collect personally, many customers book third party company's to collect from us and deliver to them directly. Please note all orders must be paid for in full before they are released, this can be done online or via the Chip & Pin card machine. Is My Credit Card Information Secure? All Credit Card information is passed over a secure connection using the latest encryption technology. When you go to the 'Checkout' page, you will see that the page starts with 'https' (meaning secure SSL connection) and there is a padlock at the bottom of your browser window indicating this. Your details are only decrypted after they reach our fulfilment department. Our systems are extremely secure and so your credit card details are safe. If you still aren't happy with buying online, you can always call us on 08000 696 696 and place your order over the phone. Online orders - After your order has been completed, you will automatically be sent an "Order Confirmation" email to the email address you entered during the checkout process. The subject line will say "Your Mayfield Furniture Order - (order number)" and will contain your order number. Please carefully read through the email to ensure all details you provided are correct including any spelling or numerical mistakes so that we can quickly make any necessary changes. You will receive a full paper copy of your order in the post aswell, please keep this safe, It will have an order number at the top which will be different to your online order number, When contacting us regarding anything, to help our staff locate your order more easily, please quote this order number.
Instore/Telephone orders - All orders placed either instore or over the phone, you will receive your paper order in hand or by post respectively. Do you delivery outside the UK? Unfortunately we can only supply goods to UK mainland addresses - England, Scotland and Wales. We try to offer our customers the best service and a fair price. Delivery charges work on a fixed rate: We currently offer Free Delivery to over 190 UK postcode districts, all delivery outside this area are charged as below. Orders £599 or under - Are generally small items which can be delivered through a third party carrier. i.e DHL, City Link, HDNL / Yodel etc. Please note some areas may incur a surcharge on top of our standard delivery rates. We supply numerous ranges from dozens of different suppliers, some are delivered from stock, others are on a made to order basis. Example: Current lead-time: 8 weeks Do You Assemble On Delivery? Yes, but this service is currently only available in certain areas. Even if you are outside our current assembly area, depending on the order size, we may still be able to offer our assembly service at a nominal charge.
